Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The restaurant's setting is gorgeous. The atmosphere is cozy, with walls that retain their original, raw charm, while the furniture is contemporary. The service is good. However, I would give a 6/10 for the food. We shared the fried calamari, which was very good. The batter was perfectly crispy. However, the tuna tataki, while tasty, was not very generous for €13.80. The chicken with langoustine and potatoes was good, and I have no complaints. Overall, everything was good, but not as special compared to the ambiance. We had a great time. I recommend it if you're going as a couple or with friends to dine in a somewhat intimate place."
"The stars the place has (3.9) do not really checks with reality (would be a 4.5). The place is lovely, its very well maintained and the scenery is really nice. We ordered a Timbal de Berenjenas which was very good and a rice of lamb for the main course. Very good however if you tried the rice without the lamb, the flavor of the meat was not present. I would suggest to use the meat’s juice to season the rice too. Other than that the food was very good as well the attention of the waiters. Would go back for sure."
"Beautiful restaurant with 15 euro weekday lunch deal. My boyfriend’s mom highly recommended this place and I’m glad we went! The lunch deal included bread, your choice of app, entree, dessert, and your choice of water, soda, or wine. I opted for the pasta for my app, paella for the entree, and almond cake. Everything was absolutely delicious. The decor was really cool too, as the restaurant blends historic stone with a modern day sensibility. The bathroom in particular had almost club-like vibes. We were able to be seated immediately without a reservation when we came for lunch on a weekday. I almost want to gatekeep this place but hopefully you can avail yourself of a great set menu."
"Only the place is worth it, with the stone wall finishes. The croquettes smelled fishy. Worst of all, the seafood paella was tasteless. Not worth it. We wasted time because of the slow service and poor quality."
"A lovely restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. The tuna salad is amazing!I highly recommend this place"
"Beautiful restaurant with mood lighting and lovely atmosphere. Servers were very nice - even when I declined a bottle of wine that I ordered after I tasted it; they kindly brought me another bottle that was more to my liking. We had the lamb and the risotto. Both dishes were great, but not excellent. What was excellent were the prices. Very good value for the quality of restaurant."
"Amazing value Menu del dia with a lovely waitress called Virginia"
"Really nice atmosphere and interior that caught our intention. Booked online a few hours before and being seated quickly in a packed restaurant on a Sunday evening. Food more than worth it for the price. Honest Catalan food in a chic style, deserves at least 4/5 especially for the prices. The rest was definitely a 5/5 for atmosphere/design and the service as well which was very attentive and friendly even in a super busy big restaurant at peak time. Highly recommend and would surely come back any time."
